Meet The Founder
As founder and principal designer of SMZ Luxe Homes, Shayla oversees all designs and renovations that transform her clients’ homes. She has a background in flipping homes and uses her gift of design to create unique interior designs that fit her clients’ budgets and styles. After 15 yrs with the Veterans Benefits Administration, she launched her business full-time in 2020 during the start of the pandemic. Shayla has been blessed to design and renovate many spaces from kitchens and bathrooms to full home renovations. Her eye for detail is evident in every space she designs. She obtained a business degree from Oklahoma State University and has completed kitchen and bathroom design courses through National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) also being mentored by celebrity kitchen and bathroom designer Matthew Ferrarini.
Shayla is a single Christian mom and carries her Christian morals into her business. This is more than a business but also a spiritual journey for her. Through her service to others, she wants Christ to be seen and glorified. She loves to serve and spends her time helping those in need and still provides assistance to Veterans.
